COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (February 2, 2007) – Naples, Fla. was selected by Coastal Living travel editor Steve Millburg as the Number One Top Romantic Escape in the January/February 2007 edition. The story featured ten romantic escape destinations in North America and the Caribbean. Subsequent to the magazine coverage, the story was featured on CNN.com along with a photo of Naples Beach & Pier.

“This recognition is especially meaningful since the story copy references the many wonderful attributes of the greater Naples, Fla. area – from beautiful beaches to the arts, nature, great resorts and inns and our lively, easily walkable downtown area,” said Jack Wert, tourism executive director.
