Sea Turtle Nesting Season
Annual season for several species of threatened and endangered sea turtles to nest on Southwest Florida beaches. Laws require no artificial lights on beaches and from beachfront hotels and dwellings after 9 pm to avoid disorienting nesting females and baby hatchlings seeking the protection of the Gulf.
